Creating a Typical Job:
One can create a job with a single session that can include very generic information, very specific information or almost no information. Once created, save the job, and then cancel the session. After noting the NUMBER of the job, that job number can then be added in the Typical Job # field of the Customer record. This allows that job’s information to auto populate the add new job window when adding new jobs for that Customer.
Some of the benefits of this are:
- Allowing scheduling staff to review the same Notes for Office Staff each time a new job is being created.
- Setting a job page template for certain Customers who have their own logins, encouraging them to fill in fields.
- Creating presets for specific fields (category type/ service type / marking the Hide Job From Deaf Client Login View box).
- Making a blank job page template to ensure confidentiality if Clients make requests under a Customer account via their Deaf Employee login (does not load the previous job page details).
After a Typical Job has been created and saved to a Customer record, the fields that will populate in the newly created jobs are:
Job Main Tab: all fields that have been filled in
Job Notes Tab: job notes for Provider(s)
Job Site Tab: all fields that have been filled in
Billing Profile Tab: all fields
Fields that will not populate in newly created jobs are:
Session Notes: neither notes for office staff nor notes for Provider(s)
Job Notes Tab: notes for office staff
Tip: Notes for Office Staff should be put in the Scheduling Notes field on the Customer record and then those notes will automatically be seen when one adds a new job.
